Dinner at Backwoods BBQ

I checked into the hotel about 6 pm and freshened up a bit. Given its German heritage, Fredericksburg is home to some great German restaurants, and I debated whether I wanted some real German cuisine or a simple meal of Texas barbeque. I decided on the latter and headed out to Backwoods BBQ for some real Texas BBQ.

I got the two meat combo plate, with brisket, pork ribs, creamed corn, cole slaw, pinto beans, and a Modelo Especial. Afterwards, I got their peach cobbler too. I was thoroughly satisfied with all of my selections. I suspect I will sleep well tonight.
