Carlsbad Museum

After finishing up the self-guided tour of the caverns and after checking out the gift shop and Visitor Center's exhibits and talking to a Park ranger about other stuff to do, I headed back into Carlsbad to tour the downtown streets and to visit the Carlsbad Museum. The municipal museum was established in 1933 and is free to all visitors. The museum was a bit mediocre but it did have some interesting artworks and a nice exhibit on how the Carlsbad Caverns have been interpreted over the years by various artists. I was able to tour the museum in about 25 minutes. Here are a few of the photos I took while on my visit.
